Spring cleaning in November.
The kids have been with their dad for two days, and will be back tomorrow. I have been cleaning, cleaning, cleaning. I have been getting rid of all kinds of stuff. Stuff we don't use anymore, stuff I had been hanging on to just because it belonged to someone special at some point in time. I have no use for the things, but felt bad getting rid of them since they had been someone elses. These things are not the person, the won't bring that person back. I have wonderful memories, no point keeping the stuff. Next I'm going to tackle my books. I've enjoyed reading them all, some more than others. Some I will read again, some I would like my kids to read, but for the most part they are just taking up space. I'll keep the ones I want to pass on and the rest will go.

5 Things.....
5 Things I love....in no particular order
1. My three beautiful children.
2. Summers in Alaska.
3. Winters in the Rocky Mountains.
4. A good book.
5. A clean organized home.
5 Things I hate.
1. OKLAHOMA
2. Cleaning....kinda messes #5 above.
3. Teenager attitude.
4. Having to work on Weekends/Holidays.
5. Living so far from my sister.
5 Random Things.
1. I CANT believe I'm going to Las Vegas in 4 days!!!
2. I love running into a certain someone at Starbucks...too bad I can't figure out how to talk to him.
3. I text more with my kids than I actually talk to them face to face.
4. My job creates a great deal of confusion/frustration for me.
5. I'm happier divorced than I ever was married. If I regret deciding to get married at such a young age do I also regret the results of that marriage??

Thankful
I'm thankful that my children have all gone to their dad's house at the same time. It's unbelievable how much work I can get done around the house with them gone. I see them so little during the week that one the weekends I just want to play and hang out, I don't want to clean the house. Now that they are all gone I'm getting all kinds of stuff done, stuff that I have been putting off for months. I've cleaned my closet and have three boxes and a large garbage bag full of things to give away.
I am clueless when it comes to talking to people. I don't know how I never learned how to hold a normal conversation. I guess it will come with time, which doesn't do one much good when they are trying to get someone interested....grrr.

So...now that I'm officially single, how in the heck do I go about meeting someone...I haven't dated in over 20 years, and even then I was still in High School, wouldn't exactly call that dating. I have no clue. I don't think I possess the required social skills needed to meet someone, and yet I don't think someone is going to show up at my doorstep wanting to take me out...
